Facilities / Tutorial Rooms

The institute has spacious and airy tutorial rooms equipped with various audio-video aids. Thus, to ensure effective teaching, conducive teaching environment is being provided in the tutorial rooms.

Labs : To provide the students the best of practical exposure the Institute has developed sophisticated labs equipped with instruments of latest technology. To cater the need of the courses & to equip the students with modern practical techniques of nursing the separate labs for community health, nutrition and nursing art etc are being provided. A state of the art computer lab has also been established to make them able to compete in profession.

Library : “Library is the soul of the institution”

Being inspired from the quotation the institute has developed a fully air conditioned, state of art library, which is equipped with all the latest books Indian as well as Foreign authors and CD’s. More and more new publications are being added to gratify the need of the course. To make the students able to complete in this world of great competition various journals, periodicals, magazines, daily newspaper are subscribed. Most important feature of the library is its cool & encouraging study environment.

Faculty : The Institute boasts of possessing highly qualified, experienced & dedicated faculty for all the subjects. To cater the need of theoretical as well as practical exposure of the course, thoroughly professional & dedicated faculty mostly M. Sc. Nursing, B. Sc. Nursing with practical exposure is appointed. To make the students aware with latest developments & changes in the profession, distinguished experts of the area are being invited frequently, as resource personnel for conduct of Seminars, Conferences & symposia. To improve communication skills of the students regular presentations, group discussions, regarding problems & latest development in the profession, are also being organized.

Computer Lab : We have a fully AC, well furnished, highly sophisticated labs with all new Pentium systems with 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD and Colored Monitors. All the systems are networked and catered by a server viz. Windows NT Server, Linux and Proxy Server. You can access your login from any system in the college and can also work on any operating system ( Windows 98, 2000, Linux or UNIX) by sitting on any machine We have a database server running on LINUX which is in high demand by the industry.

All the systems are backed up by UPS. We have dedicated internet access at 256 KBPS with 1:1 student computer radio & accessed via Radio Link.

Hostel : To gratify the need of students, the institute authorities have established a state of art hostel, equipped with all the modern electric & electronics gadgets i.e. Room Coolers, Fans, Geyser, Television etc. The food is being cooked and served in most hygienic conditions in hostel mess. Indoor games are also being provided. 

Teaching Pedagogy : Our teaching strategy consists of increasing use of group discussions, panel discussions, brain storming session, role-playing and case studies. The emphasis is always on creating and perceiving real life work situations in competitive business setting. The role of teacher in-charge of any particular course is that of being a guide, a motivator and an initiator. Besides classroom teaching the students are motivated to conduct non-class room learning exercises for inculcating creativity and innovation.

English Speaking : English speaking classes are conducted as a part of personality development classes. Such classes are held to help the students in their course studies as well as to groom them so that they can compete in their respective fields.

Live Research : Students are expected to take up a topic of research that relates to the social responsibilities of the business. This could be about environment, social upliftment or any other area that relates to the contribution of business community in making a better world.

Human Resource Development (HRD) Cell : We believe that only technology which cannot be copied by any organization, is human resource technology, How can one copy the habits of self starters, the leaders and pioneers. To unearth One’s potential we have this exclusive department programs in collaboration with department of publicity and public relations.

Personality Development Cell : We Know that what others don’t teach you at other institutes in hands on experience. We deliver more because we feel that student are the biggest assets and we own so much to the society and industry.

Seminars/ Presentation : Seminar and presentations invoice a small group of students. Usually the group led by a staff member, discusses one aspect of a subject in depth. It can be, for example, on an exercise or case which students have worked on, or an essay that an individual student has presented. The student are encouraged to consider competing view/point to promote creative discovery.

Electric Sub-Station/ Gen Sets : The College has its own Electrical Sub-Station of 63 KVA & 10KVA. In order to ensure uninterrupted power supply college has to diesel generators with a capacity of 15KVA & 10 KVA

Bus Facilities:- Bus facility will be provided to day scholars on payment basis. The Institute will also Provide Bus facility to transport the students for practical training in different hospitals in the area.
